Synopsis
Reünie van het MONTY PYTHON team! Een groep hoogbegaafde buitenaardse wezens, gespeeld door de Monty Python leden zelf, vindt een onbeduidend planeetje dat ‘Aarde’ heet. Ze besluiten de primitieve bewoners te testen, door één toevallig gekozen exemplaar onbeperkte supergaven te geven. Slaagt de mens voor de test, dan mogen ze zich aansluiten bij de Intergalactische Intellectuelen. Zo niet, dan wordt de aarde vernietigd.
Neil is een verbitterde leraar, die ontdekt dat hij ineens supergaven heeft wanneer hij zijn hele klas en al zijn collega’s allerlei narigheid toewenst. Hij besluit om zijn enige vriend, z’n hond Dennis (Robin Williams in zijn laatste rol), het vermogen te geven om te praten. Daarna gebruikt hij zijn nieuwe macht om zijn buurvrouw Catherine, waar hij al jaren verliefd op is, te verleiden. De zaak loopt flink uit de hand wanneer Catherine en Dennis stapeljaloers op elkaar worden. Neil bedenkt van alles om dit probleem op te lossen. Maar de vraag is of dit genoeg indruk op de buitenaardse wezens maakt om het einde van de wereld te voorkomen…

Synopsis
Reunion of the MONTY PYTHON team! A group of hyperintelligent aliens, played by the Monty Python members themselves, finds an insignificant little planet called 'Earth'. They decide to test the primitive inhabitants, by giving one randomly chosen specimen unlimited superpowers. If mankind passes the test, they may join the Intergalactic Intellectuals. If not, the earth will be destroyed.
Neil is an embittered teacher, who suddenly discovers that he has superpowers when he wishes his entire class and all his colleagues all kinds of misfortune. He decides to give his only friend, his dog Dennis (Robin Williams in his last role), the ability to talk. Then he uses his new powers to seduce his neighbor Catherine, whom he has been in love with for years. Things get out of hand when Catherine and Dennis turn green with jealousy towards each other. Neil comes up with all sorts of solutions to this problem. But the question is whether this impresses the aliens enough to prevent the end of the world...
