Synopsis
De 13e eeuw, Semigallia. De mensen leven een hard, maar vrij en overwegend vredig bestaan. De stervende koning draagt de Ring der Koningen over aan een onverwachte opvolger, de jonge Namejs. Hij wordt meteen geconfronteerd met de grootste uitdaging uit de geschiedenis. De Paus stuurt een leger van de meest gewelddadige misdadigers naar het gebied om de “heidenen te bekeren”. De overmacht van moordenaars wordt geleid door Max von Buxhoeveden. Het is een publiek geheim dat hij eigenlijk de zoon van de Paus is, maar bovendien is hij een ambitieuze, doortrapte en volkomen harteloze psychopaat. De bevolking van Semigallia is een trots volk van geharde krijgers, die nooit opgeven. Een extreem bloedige oorlog is het gevolg, waarin de jonge Koning Namejs, von Buxhoeveden steeds een stap voor moet blijven om zijn bevolking te redden…

Synopsis
13th century, Semigallia. The people live a hard, but overall peaceful life. Their dying king hands over the Ring of Kings to an unexpected successor, the young Namejs. Almost immediately he is confronted with the biggest challenge in their history. The Pope sends an army of the most violent criminals to the area to “convert the pagans”. The superior force is led by Max von Buxhoeveden. It’s a public secret that he is really the son of the Pope. But moreover, he is an ambitious, cunning and completely heartless psychopath. The people of Semigallia are a proud people of hardened warriors, who never give up. An extremely bloody war ensues, where the young king Namejs needs to stay one step ahead of von Buxhoeveden in order to save his people…
