Synopsis

Wanneer de oogverblindende blondine Kyra Leo's kantoor binnenloopt en hem wanhopig vraagt  om haar vermiste broer te vinden, weet Leo meteen dat dit een standaard klusje is voor een ervaren privédetective. Helaas is Leo geen privédetective, maar een vertegenwoordiger die pennen en sleutelhangers verkoopt. De privédetective zit naast Leo, Kyra is het verkeerde kantoor ingelopen. Leo krijgt het niet over zijn hart om ‘nee’ te zeggen en beloofd haar te helpen. Al snel belandt hij in een duistere zaak waar zware criminelen en stinkend rijke fraudeurs hem naar het leven staan. Hij heeft geen idee hoe hij vermiste personen moet vinden, misdadigers moet uitschakelen en belangrijker nog: hoe hij de beeldschone Kyra moet versieren. Door toeval en blind (on)geluk stuitert hij van de ene in de andere levensgevaarlijke situatie, terwijl hij stap voor stap een ingewikkeld complot van oplichting, fraude en moord ontrafelt.

Synopsis

When the ravishing but evasive blonde Kyra bursts into Leo’s office begging for help in finding her missing brother, it’s just another day in the life of a hardboiled detective. The problem is Leo is not a detective, but a pencil salesman. The detective is across the hall, Kyra has walked into the wrong office. Leo cannot bring himself to say ‘no’ to this beauty and promises to help her. Soon he is caught up in a shady case while  hardened criminals and filthy rich swindlers are trying to end his life. He has no idea how to find missing persons or incapacitate stone cold killers. Moreover, he has no idea how to seduce the beautiful Kyra, with whom he is hopelessly infatuated. Through coincidence and blind (mis)fortune he falls in one dangerous situation after another, while inadvertently uncovering a complicated scheme of deception, fraud and murder…
