Synopsis
Rachel en AJ zijn twee weggelopen tieners. Rachels zus is omgekomen bij een Hit & Run auto-ongeluk. Tot haar woede heeft de politie er nooit veel werk van gemaakt. Samen met haar vriendje AJ gaat ze nu zelf op onderzoek uit om de dader te straffen.
Rechercheurs Robbie en Jane doen onderzoek naar de moord op Robbie’s voormalige partner. Op diens lichaam vinden ze een USB drive met filmmateriaal van Rachel en AJ.
Rachel heeft ontdekt dat haar zus ongewild betrokken was bij een ingewikkelde zaak van corruptie en zware criminaliteit. Het stel gaat net zo lang door tot ze alle betrokkenen gevonden hebben. En ze filmen hun volledige onderzoek.
Telkens wanneer Robbie en Jane weer een slachtoffer vinden, is er ook weer een nieuwe film. Met iedere film ontdekken de rechercheurs –in chronologisch omgekeerde volgorde- steeds meer over de gewelddadige wraaktocht van de tieners en de beerput van corruptie en moord. Naarmate ze dichter bij de dader komen, wordt steeds duidelijker hoe diep de corruptie ook binnen hun eigen politiedienst zit. En dat het vinden van die dader grote gevolgen zal hebben...
Synopsis
Rachel and AJ are two runaway teens. Rachel’s sister has died in a Hit & Run. Rachel is furious to find out that the police isn’t doing much about it. Together with her boyfriend AJ she decides to go and find the perpetrator herself.
Detectives Robbie and Jane investigate the murder of Robbie’s former partner. On his body they find a USB drive with footage shot by Rachel and AJ.
Rachel has discovered that her sister was inadvertently involved in a complex case of corruption and crime. The couple pledges not to stop until they have found all people involved. And they film their entire investigation.
Every time Robbie and Jane find another victim, new footage appears. With every film, the detectives discover -in chronologically reversed order- more about the teens’ violent quest for vengeance, and the cesspool of corruption and murder. As they draw closer to discovering the perp, it becomes clear how deep the corruption runs in their own department. And that finding that perp will have dire consequences…
